That need gave birth to the idea of the AFPFC Lounge, a modest yet meaningful project envisioned to enhance staff morale and promote well-being.Completed in March 2025, the AFPFC Lounge was designed as a multi-functional rest and recharge space for both employees and guests. Located within the main building, the lounge features comfortable seating, ambient lighting, calming interiors, and a dedicated refreshment area. It provides a sanctuary where personnel can take short breaks, unwind during lunch, or hold informal discussions in a relaxed setting.What makes the lounge special is its purpose beyond aesthetics. It reflects the AFPFC’s commitment to people-first leadership—recognizing that mental wellness and physical rest are essential to productivity and professionalism. It also serves as a welcoming area for visitors, showcasing the Center’s culture of courtesy, hospitality, and discipline.The project was a product of collaboration between the Administrative Division and Logistics Unit, using repurposed furniture, local suppliers, and internal labor to minimize costs while maximizing utility. From idea to execution, it stood as a testament to how small, thoughtful changes can make a big impact.Today, the AFPFC Lounge is more than just a room—it’s a reflection of the Center’s evolving workplace culture.
